NGL STUDENTS:
Discussion questions

Saturday morning

1. Share your name, which church and city you are from, and briefly share about your involvement in your current student fellowship.

2. Share more generally about your student fellowship and how it’s going.

     - What areas are you grateful for?

     - Any areas you hope your fellowship can grow in?

3. We heard earlier about the importance of helping our students truly believe the Gospel. Looking at your students, do you feel many of your students truly know the Gospel? Do we have a lot of people who might be familiar with ‘church’ but not really know Christ?

     - How can help more of our students truly encounter Christ?

4. Do you feel your student ministry has a clear aim and purpose? If you do, share what they are.

5. What are, or what could be, some gospel callings that you see God planting in your students?

6. What areas do you feel you need more equipping in for your student ministry?

Pray to end

Saturday Evening

  1. What is one thing that you’ve been personally impacted by this evening?

  2. As you consider where your student ministry is currently at, what is one of the biggest barriers to being missional (as a group)?

  3. Does your student ministry currently have a culture of invitation, hospitality, and outward focus? Why or why not?

  4. What barriers keep your students from living missionally? How can this be addressed? What do you think they need in terms of equipping or encouragement?

  5. How might seeing yourself as God’s ambassador change how you lead student ministry or relate to others?

  6. What is one practical takeaway that you can incorporate into your student ministry?

  7. Who is one person you can intentionally pray for who is not yet a Christian?
