We recognise that this may be a disappointing or unexpected change for some families, and it was not a decision we made lightly. Meet Rocky Chan (and his wife Minna)!
Rocky came from a childhood where he trusted money, possessions, and relationships more than he trusted God. Idolizing those things derailed Rocky’s life for almost a decade but God’s faithfulness and mercy rescued him. After he obeyed the Lord’s call to become a pastor, Rocky has served in various churches for 27 years. He’s had the privilege of preaching in churches in Thailand, India, Myanmar, Guatemala, South Africa, and Sweden. Rocky and Minna began dating after serving together as leaders in their home church’s youth group. Minna is capable and lovely. Together, they share a lot of fun traits such as sarcasm, dark humour, and sleeping. At retreats like PHAT camp, we love meeting new students and answering tough questions they may have about life or faith. We have a dog.
